Tomorrow is Hanna's 3rd birthday but since Saturday is to Israel as Sunday is to the rest of the world we had a party for her tonight. We had friends over and a good time. Food for thought Hanna's 1st birthday was in Oregon, 2nd was in Arizona and 3rd here in Israel. Next year she should have a birthday back in NM.
Earlier in the week they made an octopus piñata.
The weather has been nice the past few days. We played at the beach yesterday, but don’t be fooled by the pictures. The girls didn’t go swimming and were in their swim suits for less than 30 min before they put on sweatshirts.
In the last week, while the news I read doesn't say, Israel has pounded on Gaza on a couple of occasions. Rockets have been fired into Israel from Gaza with no hits near us since the cease fire. One day last week I was home sick and heard planes flying and explosions (big ones). The news reports Israel is blowing up tunnels, but not how many. I would guess more than 20 missiles on each of the days fired into Gaza.
