Best Wave of my Life

I was asked by the locals not to disclose this spot.  Its a first for me to find a place on my own that's not on the mainstream surf maps.  I was actually first out in the water this Sunday morning, the photos are a few hours later.  It was way better and way less crowded than the well known spot 15 min away.  It was barreling up over the reef, other guys out were getting barreled, I didn't but still got the best wave of my life along this point.  Zoom up the pictures and the second photos to see a couple of surfers out.

Kids then did the tide pool thing along the beach.  The amount of fossils in the rocks was unreal.  Hanna found a few loose ones to collect.  Everett found a few small jelly fish, no stingers.

We also did an ice skating thing last weekend.  All fun and games until Hanna had a wipe out and saw the ice up close with her nose, lots of blood.

Ella had her first school dance this fall also, It was an exciting Friday night she had a lot of fun NOT dancing at the dance.
Hanna's after school homework dance.

London and Paris and a bit of Ireland

A trip to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glendalough here in Ireland

Old church in Glendalough

Mt Bike Ride in Wicklow, takes about 45min to ride to ride each way to and from to do a few small laps of the mt bike area.

Everett proud of his new smile with one less tooth in it.  Double click it to enlarge.

A trip to the east coast, no waves but lots of wind for the wind surfers.  One of the less great weather day in Ireland, a few more of those to come.

Another Wicklow Ride.  Sept was really dry and mild we had some great weather days to be outside.
Surf day to the west coast in Sept.  Great waves and weather on this Saturday.  Water was warm enough for the 3/2 wetsuit and for the kids to play in it for a good 30min before being overcome by shivers.

We were in Paris for Halloween, they really don't do Halloween so the kids didn't get to trick or treat.  They were pretty angry about that.  But we had lots of treats along the way during our week of travel.  However the day before we left we carved pumpkins with friends and gave away them the pumpkins.  Plus the kids got two candy care packages.  The first from friends in the neighborhood and the second all the way from Las Cruces from grandma.
First stop in London off the plane and train ride into town was Buckingham Palace.  We watched the changing of the guard and this is a monument out front.

lots of walking the city streets

Hop on hop off bus tour with the topless double decker bus to see all the London sites.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Not London Bridge, it's Tower Bridge

London Castle, metal flowers to represent fallen soldiers covered the ground around the outside.

Everett's head on the chopping block

Soldier test to hold the gun on target for 20sec.  Hanna passes.

Art

Perfect place to see the day before Halloween

Stacking bones is art

Everybody wants the perfect picture of Lisa, Those already exist.  I wanted a picture of people taking pictures.

Stolen Art from somewhere in Egypt (so the Egyptians stay and want it back)

Venus De Milo

Woo Hoo, outside not inside

Up in the Eiffel Tower

The first level has a new section of glass floor.  See the small dots of people below?  It was harder to step out onto than I thought it would be.

More walking

Another old church.  They are all very impressive all over Europe.
