Everett's First Birthday!

Yup, our little man is one year old today. Happy Birthday to Everett and Momma! Everett was extremely happy today, just like almost every other day of his life. Everett at one year old is out in front of his sisters when they turned one. He is walking, running, dancing, palms a mini basketball, eight teeth in his mouth, 10 kg and 78cm tall.


However mom and dad failed to do anything special or even remember till afternoon. We are worn out with kids being sick all week. We spent the day cleaning, Ella was coloring and Hanna took a very long nap. We fell apart when Ivana left, she was a big help and boosted the adult to kid ratio to 3:4, normaly 2:3. Vesna comes next week with her two boys so adult to kid ratio is 3:5. Hanna went to the Dr yesterday and was diagnosed with pneumonia, other than her cough you wouldn’t know she is sick. We think we finally have the pink eye cleared up in all 4 of us (everyone had it but mom). We are also all on the mend at 90% healthy and in the recovery phase as of today. It’s about time because we are worn out.


Don’t worry though next week Everett will get his birthday cake and celebration.

Time is flying by in June and July

We've been busy with Ivina, Mika and Petar, we had a great time with them here to visit. The kids are all lined up for breakfast Crapes from Mika (but I think it was actually a dinner meal). We've been doing lots of swimming. We are done with any major trips until it cools down. Too much work to drag around the 3 kids in the heat. For over a week now we have been battling colds and fevers, we hope it ends soon.






For the 4th another family on relocation had a party in the afternoon. Nice cookout. In the evening we did a few sparklers and called it a night.
