Anita's Birthday

Believe it or not Anita said, "I want to ride in a tea cup on my 27th Birthday!!!" And dam it if I wasn't going to deliver no matter what her wildest birthday wish was! The helicopter ride was Ella's gift.

Check out Hanna's nocturnal activities. She doesn't get this cleaning bug from daddy.

My buddy from high school, Danno, had a business trip to Haifa, he lives in Folsom Ca now. He spent the weekend with us and we surfed, had some beers and BBQ'ed. The weekend before we did the same thing with another bike riding friend, Stephan, out from Abq. Its been good to have visitors and we are looking forward to more. Let us know when you want to come. Next up is my parents Oct13th.

We had family day at Intel to show our family what we do at work. What we do at work is dress up in bunny suits. At family day its a kid activity but I asked to dress up Anita. If I can live the dream every day let her try it out for a few minutes. Anita said that it was too hot in the bunny suit.

Here Anita does another art project with the girls. Food coloring, sand and old jars. 5-6 hours of preparation by momma, 15 min of fun for the girls. What a great momma!

Pool is still open but less frequent use as temps start to drop a little and Ella is in school during the mornings.

However still lots of time at the beach.

Here is proof I can surf! Anita and I had a few hours to our selves and went to the beach to let Anita give it a whirl. She didn't care for it but got a video of me on this small wave day a few weeks ago. Surf came up to 4-5' over the weekend and I had a great time.

Father of the Year?

What do you think, Father of the Year?

(click picture to enlarge to full size)

Maybe you should seen the before picture. Not to worry it's about 90 out and water comes out of the tap already warm.

A sad quote from Ella, "What's Bacon?" Broke my heart, we don't get much pork product here however the other day I cooked some up for breakfast burritos. That's what brought up the question. You will be relieved to know she still enjoys the taste. The last pic is me and the kids on my b-day, proud dad.
