To Bend for a Birth Day!

The Bart man turned 40 and we went to his surprise party! Bend lived up to the hippy culture with tons of people out for earth day fair. Looks like a fun place to live. It was a fun trip and we did some sledding going both ways. We had a real good time, sorry but we didn't get any picks of Bart's whole family. We are off to Abq on Friday for some Green Chile and good times for a few days and then on to Kansas where Ella is going to be a flower girl in her 2nd cousin's wedding.

Beacon Rock

We went hiking up Beacon Rock, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beacon_Rock. Its 848ft tall and has switch backs overlapping up to the top. It made momma very nervous, Hanna thought it was cool! Ella walked the 3/4 of a mile to the top.
We figured it was OK to give Hanna this twig, it wouldn't hurt anyone if she let it go.

We also went to the zoo and rode the train. Ella loves riding the train! Here she practices her pretty princess wave to all of her fans.

Everybody say night night to Hanna.

Happy Easter

Check out the girls! What a great day and ton's of photos. I've figured out one trick to get better photos. Ella will pose for candy!
Easter was a fun morning, Ella was surprised to see candy. And then go on a hunt around the house to find more candy that the Easter Bunny brought. Ella had candy for breakfast and when we told her no more, she hid under the table to keep eating! The Easter Bunny was also outside after mass and giving out more candy. Ella was not afraid of the Easter Bunny!

Hanna takes her candy seriously! She was very concerned that Ella was eating more than her share.

We had a good week and few days of great weather. The neighbor across the way, Fyre, gave Ella her old bike Friday night. Some great folks around the apartment. Yet maybe proof of genetic links to a cycling gene all Ella wanted to do the rest of the weekend was ride her bicycle regardless of the rain.

Mom is doing great with baby three and as someone put it, she is starting to show. Like the others it looks like she is hiding a basketball. Anita started a Hebrew class a month ago and we started another this week. She studies hard. Ella is all art schooled up in her apron and coloring eggs.
